Generally, the proction test period shall not exceed one year. The proction test period of special high-yield wells shall not exceed half a year. If it is necessary to extend the trial mining time, a mining license valid for no more than one year shall be obtained on the strength of the exploration license and relevant documents< Article 16 The term of validity of the rolling exploration and development license is 15 years. The license holder shall apply to the registration authority for verification once every three years, and the mining license shall be obtained for the block with proven reserves

Article 17 rolling exploration and development areas shall be regarded as the scope of mining areas, and the delimitation or verification of the regional scope shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations< Article 18 after the promulgation of the mineral resources law, those who enter the mining area of an oil and gas field enterprise without authorization must withdraw unconditionally
before the promulgation of these measures, if two or more enterprises have exploited oil and gas reservoirs with different buried depths in the same area, the scope of mining area shall be determined according to the agreement of both parties and the attributes and scope of different oil and gas reservoirs exploited by them< Relevant laws and regulations:

Article 19 An enterprise holding an oil and natural gas exploitation license may divide a part of the mining area work and contract it to other units, but it must report to the registration and administration authority for the record

Article 20 Sino foreign joint ventures and cooperative exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas resources shall be reviewed and signed by the registration authority before the contract is signed.
