2018年8月比特現金在就11月份的BCH升級的意見產生了分歧，在不斷的爭論中，逐漸分成了兩個派別：
BitcoinABC和比特幣現金Satoshi'sVision(SV)
BitcoinABC是最初的比特幣和比特幣現金分叉背後的團隊，支持者為吳忌寒和比特大陸。
他們已經完成了對當前BCH代碼的修改，並計劃在2018年11月15日硬分叉。
BitcoinABC更新內容包括：

然而，另一方面，卡爾文_艾爾(CalvinAyre)和「澳洲中本聰」克雷格_賴特(CraigWright)也宣布了他們的計劃，比特幣現金Satoshi』sVision（BCHSV）。BCHSV版本將不支持BitcoinABC的計劃修改，區塊大小為128MB。他們上周表示：

比特幣的支持者CraigWright正是這場技術辯論背後的始作俑者。
CraigWright旗下的Coingeek目前是算力最高的BCH礦池，近3天平均算力達到了35.7%。
而比特大陸的兩個礦池BTC.com和Antpool算力達到了約18%。再算上ViaBTC和BTC.top，他們的算力也差不多達到了35%。
而在之前比特大陸為了IPO而公布出來的財政數據來看，比特大陸共持有1021316枚BCH。
那裡就出現了一個非常尷尬的情況，幣在自己手裡，而算力卻掌握在別人的手裡。
不知道這種情況對於礦霸來說，算不算得上是一種諷刺？
BCH的誕生
去年分叉幣橫行的帷幕就等於是以吳忌寒，江卓爾等大礦場的老闆拉開的。
那時候BCH還叫BCC，那會大家割韭菜還是比較含蓄的，都不敢明目張膽。主要是害怕被罵。於是吳忌寒就忽悠了一個年輕人來牽頭干。這個人就是楊海波。
楊海波也害怕被罵，就在BCC裡面加入了一個eda系統（就是沒人挖礦就可以自己出塊）還說BCC只是試驗品，會和BTC一起發展。
那會大家還不認什麼分叉幣，礦工和大戶紛紛把BCC換成了BTC，把BCC造成了一坨屎。
三個人著急了，就想了一個辦法，在不能充提bcc的聚幣網上拉盤，把bcc價格爆拉，然後吸引礦工去挖bcc，造成btc算力不足，無法出塊，同時吳在btc出塊的時候不記錄交易，做出了空塊。
同時三人一起發聲，抨擊btc轉賬慢，是垃圾，bcc將取代bcc。誰知道，廣大礦工在挖出bcc以後，全部拋掉bcc換成了btc，讓bcc價格跌了，btc反倒漲了。
於是三人氣急敗壞，紛紛在網上大罵。而由於當初bcc為了自保，做了eda模式，導致bcc出塊極其不穩定，結果還不到兩個月，吳和江只能聯系一個廢材碼農「昌用」來硬分叉bcc去掉eda系統。
而在bch去除eda的這幾天，就是吳忌寒砸btc並拉bch的時候，所以bch非常誇張的在三天之內從0.05btc漲到了0.46btc，漲了8倍多。這個時候，吳忌寒的團隊開始洋洋得意，吳忌寒也在推特上沾沾自喜的說「大家是朋友，一起發展」，江卓爾和狗腿子們也開始說：「這是市場對bch的支持，說控盤的都是陰謀論」。
正當這幫大家以為bch要繼續漲的時候，這幫大戶們開始出貨，bch被暴砸，一下子從0.46砸到了0.15，大量的投資者被收割，而吳忌寒拉盤的主戰場，韓國交易所bithumb也突然停牌，讓這些大戶們套現跑了路。
然後比特幣分叉的幣就開始慢慢出來了。一個比一個區塊大。
恩怨何時了？
自從澳洲中本聰，在社交網站中爆出自己是中本聰後，多次傳出負面消息。
最近的一條是2018年2月27日，這位「假本聰」被控從一位計算機安全專家那裡詐騙價值50億美元的數字貨幣和其他資產。
但是這位"中本聰「似乎不能有效的證明自己的身份，雖然江卓爾在當時曾經多次力爭這位中本聰的身份。
而就在澳洲中本聰到處為BCH站台的時候，吳忌寒卻公開說：「CSW早先並不支持BCH，他後來突然大力支持的。CSW由來已久」。
這個態度實在耐人尋味，但是其中恩恩怨怨，我們不得而知。
分叉是高招？
大多數人覺得，也許BCH分叉不是一件壞事，最起碼可以證明，BCH的社區是自由的，是去中心化的。
但是對於區塊鏈真正的發展而言，這種無序的，紛亂的分叉，顯然不是一件好事。
真正的區塊鏈共識，應該是將建立在有序的規則之下。
這在一場明顯的話語權之爭中，BCH分叉成功，那麼將對於比特大陸來說，是一次不小的危機，畢竟，現在正處於比特大陸IPO上市的關鍵時刻。
如果相對而來，如果澳洲中本聰分叉失敗，其實也沒有關系，無非就是在自己的黑料上面再添了一筆而已，而顯然，澳洲中本聰對此毫不在意。
