1. 「bit」是什麼意思全稱是什麼

BT正式的名稱叫「Bit-Torrent」(被國內網友昵稱為「變態下載」)，是一種多點共享協議軟體，由美國加州一名叫Bram Cohen的程序員開發出來。

BitTorrent專門為大容量文件的共享而設計，它採用了一種有點像傳銷的工作方式。

BT首先在上傳者端把一個文件分成了很多部分，用戶甲隨機下載了其中的一些部分，而用戶乙則隨機下載了另外一些部分。

這樣甲的BT就會根據情況(根據與不同電腦之間的網路連接速度自動選擇最快的一端)到乙的電腦上去拿乙已經下載好的部分，同樣乙的BT就會根據情況到甲的電腦上去拿甲已經下載好的部分，這樣不但減輕了伺服器端的負荷，也加快了雙方的下載速度。

實際上每個用戶在下載的同時，也在作為源在上傳(別人從你的電腦上拿那個文件的某個部分)。這種情況有效地利用了上行的帶寬，也避免了傳統的FTP大家都擠到伺服器上下載同一個文件的瓶頸。而加入下載的人越多，實際上傳的人也多，其他用戶下載得就越快，BT的優勢就在這里體現出來。

和通常的FTP、HTTP下載不同，使用BT下載不需要指定伺服器，雖然在BT裡面還是有伺服器的概念，但下載的人並不需要關心伺服器在哪裡。只有發布原始共享文件的人才需要了解。

提供BT的伺服器稱為Tracker，把文件用BT發布出來的人需要知道該使用哪個伺服器來為要發布的文件提供Tracker。由於不指定伺服器，BitTorrent採用BT文件來確定下載源。BT文件後綴名為torrent，容量很小，通常是幾十K的樣子，這個文件裡面存放了對應的發布文件的描述信息、該使用哪個Tracker(記錄下載用戶信息的伺服器)、文件的校驗信息等。BT客戶端通過處理BT文件來找到下載源和進行相關的下載操作。

BT把提供完整文件檔案的人稱為種子(SEED)，正在下載的人稱為客戶(Client)，某一個文件現在有多少種子多少客戶是可以看到的，只要有一個種子，就可以放心地下載，一定能抓完。當然，種子越多、客戶越多的文件抓起來的速度會越快。

如果發現種子數為0，那麼就不要去嘗試了。通常來說，至少有一個種子，當下載的人多了起來，通常做種子的人也會隨之增加，下載速度也就越快。當你下載完成後，如沒有選擇關閉，其他人就可以從你這里繼續下載。

3. a little a bit區別

簡單說 :(1)a little 是一點，少量的意思，它可以接形容詞（副詞）原級和比較級，但不可接最高級，比如Her bag is a little heavy. OR Could you come a little earlier tomorrow? 這時a bit 可與它進行替換，且意思一樣；
(2)a little 又可以接不可數名詞，比如There is a little water in the bottle.而 a bit 不能接不可數名詞，不能與它替換，此時能與a little 替換的是 a bit of (同義）
